A weekend celebrating Welsh Food is being held for the first time in Dolgellau on 15th-17th October. A Full range of events ranging from a medievel banquet to cheese and beer can be found on the Taste/Blas Dolgellau website.

| Snowdon Mountain Railway |
Please remember if you are planning to go up Snowdon on the railway you must book in advance. Several guests gone to Llanberis and have been disappointed to find that the trains are full.

| OTTERS!! |
We are very pleased to report that after three years the otters are back at Tal-yLlyn Lake. Mum, Dad and two babies have been spotted in recent weeks and it is hoped they will stay for the summer.
You will need to be up early as they are best seen from about 6.30am to 9.00 am.

| Mawddach Way |
The Mawddach Way is a new walk of approx 50 km which uses existing paths and permissive footpaths to make a circuit of the hills on either side of the Mawddach estuary passing through woodland, pasture and open country. The walk has been split into three manageable sections of approx 12 km. More details can be found on the website

Guests who have done the walk have been very impressed with the route and commented on the fact that it gives them a whole new perspective on the estuary although in some places the signage could be better.
We understand that funding is being sought to improve the signage.

| GoApe high wire adventure |
On March 26th GoApe opened a new High Wire Adventure Course at Coed-y-Brenin Mountain Bike Centre. So , if you are up for 3 hours of fun swinging through the trees like Tarzan, crawling through tunnels, or tackling high wire bridges why not give it a try. We are able to offer our guests a concessionary discount on bookings made through Pandy Isaf.
